Sports Management Portfolio

Beyond the Game

Sports has always interested me not only for what happens during the game, but also for everything that makes the game possible.

I am especially interested in how management, marketing, and business strategy shape the sports industry and connect teams, athletes, and fans.

About Me

I am Junshik Park, a student interested in sports management and the business behind the sports industry.

What interests me about sports goes beyond competition and performance. Behind every team, event, and athlete is a network of decisions involving management, marketing, finance, sponsorship, media, and fan engagement.

I want to understand how these different areas work together and how thoughtful business decisions can help sports organizations grow while building stronger relationships with their audiences.

Through this portfolio, I explore sports from both a management and business perspective. My work reflects the questions, ideas, and topics I have explored as I continue to learn more about the industry.

Areas of Interest

My interests lie at the intersection of sports and business. I am particularly interested in how organizations build brands, create meaningful fan experiences, develop partnerships, and manage sporting events.

These interests allow me to explore sports not simply as competition, but as a global industry shaped by people, strategy, and innovation.

What I Explore

This portfolio brings together my exploration of sports management through independent research, analysis, and concept projects.

From examining sports marketing strategies to thinking about fan engagement and the business of sporting events, each project represents a different question I have explored about the industry.
